took the midnight train going anywhere... in singapore.

AND WE'RE OFF, on the overnight express (beds included) to singapore for the weekend. on the agenda: night safari, canal cruise, obligatory street browsing, sentosa island, singapore slings and whatever else takes our fancy. speaking of fancy, we booked a room @ the gallery hotel (looks very pomo). going through my overly dramatic final chews, as any gum is strictly prohibited in the country. on another note, we've received word that we'll be heading to sarawak in three weeks time for a media training session in kuching, from which we'll be making our way over to sabah. i'm also glad to report that, upon revising the time frame, my endeavor @ momentary starvation was a success, going an entire 15 hrs w/out so much as a drink (well, maybe, a couple of sips of agua). anyways, i've got to run (pack, eat, etc.)//
